Fluoride Toxicity in Water

Fluoride toxicity in water Fluroide is naturally occuring and may be added to municipal water systems. It is added to water systems to reduce dental cavities. Levels over 2mg/l may cause mottling of teeth in normal individuals. Federal law require a community well system to notify users when monitoring indicates that fluoride in the users' water exceeds 2mg/l.

Your family dentist should be notified of your fluoride level.
